Solar Inverter Replacement Program

Receive up to $3,000 in rebates for solar system inspection and repairs

The Solar Inverter Replacement Program offers up to $3,000 in rebates to qualifying CleanPowerSF customers on a CARE or FERA discount program for inspection of your solar system, replacement of the solar inverter, and other eligible repairs.

The Solar Inverter Replacement Program is for solar systems installed under the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC)’s GoSolarSF program.

Program Details

To participate in the program, you must meet certain criteria and work with a program Participating Installer for the inspection and repairs.

Customer Eligibility

You must meet all of the following critera:

  • Be enrolled in CleanPowerSF and on either the CARE or FERA discount rate.

  • Reside at the electric account location served by a GoSolarSF solar system that received a low-income category rebate.

  • Have a solar system that is not leased or under a power purchase agreement (PPA) or other arrangement that would otherwise include covered repairs.

  • No longer be covered by GoSolarSF’s required 10-year warranty (the system is ten years or older), and in need of inspection and possible repairs.

Complete the program application form and email it to us at SFPUCSolarInverter@sfwater.org. If you received the application in the mail, return the completed form to us in the enclosed envelope.
