If you want to do more for the environment, upgrade to CleanPowerSF’s SuperGreen service. It provides energy that is 100% California-certified renewable and costs about $7 more a month for a typical small business account holder. SuperGreen is Green-e® Energy certified. Pag-opt Out (PG&E)
If you prefer to receive generation service from PG&E, you can opt out of CleanPowerSF. You will remain with PG&E. To do so, click the link below or call (415) 554-0773. Please have your PG&E account number handy. Note that you may be charged a CleanPowerSF termination fee.

This compares electricity costs for an average small business customer in the CleanPowerSF/PG&E service area with an average monthly usage of 1,225 kWh. This is based on a B-1 rate schedule for CleanPowerSF’s published rates as of March 2026 and PG&E’s published rates as of March 2026. Please note that due to rounding, the sum of each individual component may not exactly match the values in the Average Total Cost Per Month rows.
