CleanCleanPowerSF is considering a new solar billing plan for customers with rooftop solar interconnections after April 2023. As we consider possible changes, we want to hear from you.

Why This Matters
Net Energy Metering (NEM) enables customers to be credited for the electricity they generate and share back to the grid.

Our new solar billing plan would affect customers that applied for rooftop solar after April 2023 and customers whose systems are 20-years or older. If your system was connected before April 2023, the new solar billing plan will not impact you until 20 years have passed.

The proposed changes could include the amount customers are credited for electricity they generate and share back to the grid, and the amount CleanPowerSF pays for annual net surplus generation.
