CleanPowerSF is committed to ensuring that all San Franciscans have access to affordable, clean electricity. That’s why we update our electricity rates with our customers in mind—always.

CleanPowerSF updates electricity rates once a year through an open and fair public process. As a not-for-profit power provider, we set our rates based on the real cost of getting power to our customers. We put money we collect back into programs that serve our local community. In 2023 alone, CleanPowerSF saved San Francisco ratepayers $50 million that otherwise would have gone to PG&E.
