Become a CleanPowerSF Aggregator

An Aggregator is a contractor who has signed up with CleanPowerSF and is a licensed professional who finds energy savings solutions for food business customers in the Business Savings Program.

  • Direct incentive payments: Third-party-validated measurement with one-third paid after documented installation. ($2.10/kWh).

  • Streamlined enrollment and reporting: CleanPowerSF aims to make it easy for you to get started and get working.

  • Get new customers: Grow your customer base with the help of program marketing tools.

  • Get Started: Become a City Vendor. Then, fill out and agree to the Participating Aggregator Agreement.

Get Paid for Saving Energy

CleanPowerSF pays incentives to Aggregators.

  • Submit a project application to reserve your incentive.

  • Install upgrades, document completion, and calculate estimated annual kWh savings.

  • Receive measurement start date and get paid the advanced one-third incentive payment.

  • Get access to a dashboard that shows energy savings progress.

  • Recieve final payment based on measured savings after one year.

How the Business Savings Program Works

Getting started is easy. If you’re already a City Vendor, agree to the Participating Aggregator Agreement to enroll. Not yet a City Vendor? Register now.

Get New Business + Install Projects

Use program marketing materials to tell your customers about the program. Then, help them fill out the Customer Eligibility Form. With support from the CleanPowerSF program team, fill out the Project Application, install upgrades, and document completion.

Get Paid

Receive $2.10/kWh saved. One-third of expected incentive is paid up front. The rest is paid after one year of measured savings.
